Syntax

/raid <subcommand> [options]

Parameters

create optional

Create a new raid event. Run without options for a guided flow (modal for name/date/time, then a role picker and a confirmation preview). Supplying all four options creates the raid directly, as before; a partial set pre-fills the modal.

Format: (no options — guided setup) | [date:<YYYY-MM-DD>] [time:<HH:MM>] [title:<text>] [roles:<role1,role2>] [ping_roles:true|false] [team:<name>]

list optional

Show all upcoming raids with attendance counts, optionally scoped to one team

Format: [team:<name>]

edit optional

Modify an existing raid's date, time, title, or status

Format: raid_id:<id> [date:<YYYY-MM-DD>] [time:<HH:MM>] [title:<text>] [status:open|closed|cancelled]

delete optional

Permanently remove a raid and its Discord message

Format: raid_id:<id>

clone optional

Copy a raid's configuration to a new date

Format: raid_id:<id> date:<YYYY-MM-DD> [time:<HH:MM>] [title:<text>] [team:<name>]

close optional

Lock the raid roster and prevent further changes

Format: raid_id:<id>

open optional

Reopen a closed raid to allow changes

Format: raid_id:<id>

cancel optional

Cancel a raid event and remove attendance records

Format: raid_id:<id>

remind optional

Send a reminder to all signed-up players

Format: raid_id:<id> [message:<text>]

refresh optional

Update roster to reflect current guild membership and role changes

Format: raid_id:<id>

archive optional

Move a raid to the archive channel

Format: raid_id:<id>

unarchive optional

Restore an archived raid to its original channel

Format: raid_id:<id>

search optional

Search archived raids by name, player, or date

Format: query:<text> [period:month|quarter|all] [team:<name>]

Examples

Create a heroic raid

/raid create date:2026-03-28 time:19:30 title:Heroic Raid Night roles:Raider,Member

Creates a raid for March 28 at 19:30 with Raider and Member roles auto-signed-up

Clone with role ping

/raid clone raid_id:abc123 date:2026-04-04 ping_roles:true

Clones a previous raid to a new date and pings eligible roles

Search the archive

/raid search query:Mythic period:quarter

Searches archived raids containing 'Mythic' from the last 90 days

Attendance Buttons

Every raid embed includes interactive buttons for players to manage their attendance.

  • Attending — confirm your spot (default for eligible members)
  • Opt Out — remove yourself from the roster
  • Running Late — mark yourself as attending but late
  • Set Class/Spec — choose your character for this raid

Roster Behavior

Rosters are grouped and sorted for readability.

  • Tank → Healer → DPS role order
  • Class and spec shown for each participant
  • Live updates when members respond
  • Per-role character preferences supported

Permissions

  • Configured raid leader role (via /config leader-roles)
  • Or Discord ManageEvents permission
  • Server administrators can always manage raids

Troubleshooting

  • If /raid is missing, re-invite the bot with applications.commands scope.
  • If permission errors occur, verify leader roles via /config leader-roles.
  • If the roster looks stale, run /raid refresh to sync guild membership.
  • Role names are case-sensitive — use exact names or role IDs.
